About Me
I'm Christian D'Andrea, a doctoral candidate working on finite element models of the growing scoliotic spine to be used for surgical planning and prediction. In parallel, I'm exploring deep learning approaches for structural simulation. I'm based at Drexel University's Orthopedic Biomechanics Lab.
I've built and am building skills in finite element modeling, machine learning, mechanical testing, and full-stack app development. I recently built a custom liquid-cooled GPU server, and play/compose piano music on occasion.
Always open to hearing about what you're working on - feel free to reach out via email or social media.
